This cocktail requires a juicer or blender, but could also just use muddled melon. Try adding dill, mint or basil!”

GLASSWARE: COLLINS
Recipe:
2 oz Fresh Watermelon Juice
(blend and strain or juice)
½ oz Simple Syrup
½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1 Bar Spoon (1/8 oz) Balsamic Vinegar
Pinch of salt
Optional - fresh herbs of your choice
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in shaker tin, add ice, and SHORT shake. Strain into ice-filled Collins glass. Garnish with fresh watermelon skewered and fresh herbs.
SIMPLE SYRUP:
In a saucepan combine:
1 cup granulated white sugar
1 cup water
Heat over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat, then cool. Use right away or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
