Angelica Pickles

GLASSWARE: COUPE

Recipe:

  • 1 ½ oz Far North Gustaf Navy Strength Gin

  • 2 Dashes Rice Wine Vinegar
    (White wine vinegar will work)

  • ¾ oz Simple Syrup

  • ¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 3 Cucumber Slices

  • 2 Sprigs of Dill

  • 3 Big Parsley Sprigs

  • 1 Pinch Salt

  • 1 Dash Angostura Bitters

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a shaker tin add cucumber, herbs and salt. Muddle well. Add remaining ingredients and shake well with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, garnishing with a dash of Angostura bitters and the top of a dill sprig.

SIMPLE SYRUP:

In a saucepan combine:

  • 1 cup granulated white sugar

  • 1 cup water

Heat over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat, then cool. Use right away or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
